How do I tune the Weather Band?
- Rotate the volume dial to the ON position
- Adjust the tuner selector switch to the WB setting
- Extend the telescopic antenna
- Rotate the analog tuner dial until your local weather band can be heard
Note: Analog tuners are very sensitive to adjustments small movements are necessary to tune
What is the Dynamo hand crank used for?
The Dynamo hand crank charges the internal rechargeable battery
circuit should dry cell batteries not be available or are depleted.
How long will a charge last on a dynamo crank charge?
If you cranked the dynamo the recommended 6 revolutions the radio
should last 5-8 mins at a moderate volume. The dynamo is for emergency
purposes only, and batteries are recommended for extended periods.
Will the dynamo recharge the batteries in the battery compartment?
No, the dynamo will only recharge the internal rechargeable battery
circuit of this device and will not impact the batteries installed into
the battery compartment.
